The included accessories
Outdoor access point TL-WA5210G High Power 2.4 GHz is dedicated for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs). Wireless data transmission can be performed in AP, AP Router, WISP, or WISP Client mode. The device is equipped with a high gain antenna, which, together with the electronic board, is put in a weather-resistant housing. Thanks to the antenna with 12 dBi gain, high output power of the transmitter (27 dBm) and high sensitivity of the receiver, the device allows to create long-range, stable and efficient wireless connections.
Distinguishing features:
  • High efficiency and Tx output power - 27 dBm,
  • High Rx sensitivity - 54M: -76 dBm,
  • Directional 12 dBi antenna,
  • Weatherproof housing,
  • ESD protection - 15 kV,
  • Support for AP , WISP and AP Router modes,
  • PoE (up 60 m via UTP cable),
  • Simple and quick installation,
  • Wireless transmission speed up to 54 Mb/s (turbo mode),
  • Transmission range up to 15 km,
  • Vertical or horizontal polarization,
  • Second layer isolation of subscriber traffic,
  • Information on current speed,
  • PING watchdog,
  • Speed test,
  • Remote management,
  • Support for WEP, WPA/WPA2,WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK,
  • SMA R/P connector for an external antenna.
TL-WA5210G N2350 can operate as:
  • Router Client (WISP),
  • AP Router,
  • Access Point,
  • Client, WDS Bridge,
  • Repeater.
The device allows to secure data transmission using the following encryption protocols: 64/128 bit WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
Some operation modes:
Client Router (WISP) mode
Router in client mode (WISP) connects to the wireless ISP service (wireless interface operates as the WAN port) and then, using the router function, splits the signal to several computers via its LAN port and an additional switch (e.g. N29915 ).
Point-to-Point mode
A typical point-to-point link can be achieved by a combination of the device working in Access Point mode and another device operating in Client (or WISP Client) mode, or by a pair of devices operating in Bridge mode. The connection enables data transmission in both directions between two locations. Use of Access Pointand Client, or Bridge modes makes a "transparent connection".
If needed, the additional mount E9263 allows to adjust tilt of the device.
